For all you mac addicts out there I just found out about a new browser for Mac. I just installed it and it is seriously pretty cool. I found out about from Transition Pete who found out about it from Los so now I’m passing it on. Sorry Windonians…. no Flock for you but you can still look at it here:
Flock — The web browser for you and your friends
:edit:
Well thanks Burn Drive for bursting my bubble. Oh well, I’d rather be wrong and correct it than go on thinking something that isn’t right. Thanks… by the way…. here’s what Mr. Burndrive thinks about Macs.

Um… Flock is available for Windows too. They just change the picture and the links on the main page based on your User Agent string.
Basically though, it’s Firefox with a few extra bells and whistles: bells and whistles which are readily available as Firefox extensions.
The only advantage I can see is that someone went through the trouble of packaging it all together for you and making it look “pretty,” but personally I see this as a disadvantage, because it gives you a bunch of features that tie you in to specific services (Del.icio.us, Flickr, Technocrati). You may think these services are great, but who’s to say they’ll always be the best at what they do?
Software Updates for Flock will always lag behind Firefox. Firefox extensions, while you can still install them, may or may not work properly with Flock.
Then again, you use a Mac, so perhaps all you care about is that it looks pretty, and “just works” without any inconvenient customization.
I think Flock is for sheep.
Yay for alternate browsers, though!
ROFL @ Tim’s sheep pun. =)
