That worship session with Tim Hughes was awesome!!! I have to say that his CD’s don’t do him justice. He’s one of those guys that’s a true worship leader…. by that I mean that his music isn’t about listening but about responding….. WORSHIPING!!! Ya know? He is an amazing worship leader.
Now it’s time for sessions again. I went to a session called “How to train student worship leaders” and I got alot out of it. More importantly, I made a new friend…. Taffy is the student ministries worship pastor (same job as me!!!) here at Saddleback and just a really neat guy. I’m looking forward to getting together with him in the future.
I am currently sitting in an air conditioned room listening to a session on drums and loops. Interesting, but I feel like it’s a little over my head because I don’t have a clue when it comes to drums. What’s a snare? ….. Nah, I’m not that bad… but still these guys are all talking way over my head. SICK!
