Today was senior sunday at our church. It isn’t a big deal unless you’re one of the people who is moving on to another group. Basically it’s the last sunday you get to be in a group. The 6th graders are moving up to Jr High, the 8th graders are moving up to High school and the seniors are moving up to college. I’ve been through a few of these and they aren’t that big-a-deal if you’re not in one of those groups I just mentioned (or a parent of one of those people) but today I am included in that group. Today was my last time leading worship for the high school group that has been my home for the last 5 1/2 years. Thats a sad thing for me but a good thing all at the same time. You see I’m giving up High school to take a bigger role in our college ministry and, even more exciting, to devote more time to The Elevation Service. Thats a good thing… so we’ll see how God uses this for his glory. Thank you High school for all the memories!
