Dang yo, I feel like a machine today. Here’s a rundown of my work day so far.
8:00 - 9:00 am - Staff Chapel
9:00 - 11:00 am - Pastor/Director Meeting
11:00 - 11:45 am - Elevation Planning Meeting
11:45 - 2:00 pm - Quarterly Worship planning meeting
So there’s six hours of my day. The first six hours of my week. I wish they would have told me that ministry was all about meetings and politics before I signed up for this stuff…… Doesn’t it feel like that sometimes? All kidding aside though, there are times when I dread going to those meetings… days like that just suck because they’re boring and long…. today was not one of those days. Today I felt like we discussed important stuff and that we actually got stuff done. THANK YOU LORD FOR LETTING ME BE A PART OF DAYS LIKE THESE!!!
Anyway, I gotta go…. time for another meeting. =)

I love it when I get to have meetings about meetings…
After living through the same meeting schedule I can sympathize with you. It was brutal but good. We talked about and planned a lot of good things, but my brain was fried. It was weird turning on my computer for the first time at 2:15 yesterday. It was hard to be productive for that last few hours in the office.
