I got an email from Beck today about my last post about desks and she inspired me to turn this thing into a competition. So now you can win things. I haven’t decided what you’re gonna win yet but it’ll be something. Also instead of just including messy desks we are going to open it up to a few different categories. Here they are:
- Messiest desk - this one speaks for itself
- Most Pimped out desk – The desk that makes you wanna kick someone in the face when you see it because it’s either tricked out with all the bells and whistles or just cries out “I’m creative and you’re not”
- Most random object on desk (this is on the honor system so don’t put something that isn’t normally there just so you can win)
- The “You Call That A Desk?” desk – for those of you who have those 2×2 pieces of wood and popsicle sticks that you call a desk.
So send me a picture of your desk. Tell all your friends to send pictures of their desks. Post about it on your blog. Everyone is eligible to win. Here’s what you have to do to enter.
- Take a picture of your desk or workspace
- Post those pictures on your blog along with a post about this contest (if you don’t have a blog GET ONE, they’re free at blogger.com or wordpress.com).
- Leave me a comment and let me know that you want in on the contest
- Tell all your friends to come over and enter their desk too.
I also need to find a few people to judge the different categories (along with my wife and I) so if you’re interested in that let me know too. Your entries are due by next Thursday (June 7th) at midnight. Good luck!
