Today is my first day back at work since I’ve been sick (well that is if you don’t include last Sunday when I had to lead an all-church service while not being able to sing at all). It’s kinda weird being back the day after everyone else got back from the holidays. It feels like everyone else had yesterday to get back into the swing of things and here I am a day late and out of sync with everything. Thats cool, at least I only have two services to plan today. =) Tonight is college group (which I usually do worship for) and I got someone else to lead worship for me for that because I discovered that while my head is clear and the notes are coming out right, there is still something inherently distracting about a guy who is leading you in worship hacking up a lung after every third line. Anyway, So there’s that and then there’s Sunday’s Elevation service… but thats coming together… I hope. I guess all you Elevationites will find out on Sunday huh?
