Quiet Time?

Somebody asked me this last week and today it came back up in my mind so I thought I’d ask all of you because I’m curious… what does your quiet time look like?

im reading throught the gospels. 2 chapters a day equates through the gospels in 2 months, 6x a year. its fun reading the words and life of jesus. obviously prayer is a vital part ofthis time.

Morning, usually about 20 minutes, before I head in to the office. I’m not a huge “devotionals” guy, buy lately, I’ve been really into “Streams in the Desert” by Cowan. It’s pretty fresh.

When I’m feeling up to the brisk winter weather (I’m in MI), I go to the back of my property. The back 300 ft or so is wooded and nestled nicely on a large pond. (too bad I can’t post a pic) It’s nice and quiet and fresh. Lets me clear my head and pray and think without any distractions. It’s my little piece of country in the city! Otherwise I just sit anywhere in my house and read my Biblia.

Not real quiet! I call the “loud times” sometimes.
